Biography
John Elsadai is a Christian author, Shalom Dhwani chief editor, evangelist, and Bible teacher known for his devotional writings and character studies drawn from the pages of Scripture. Born into a Christian Orthodox family in Kerala, India, John’s early years were shaped by prayer, Scripture, and a deep hunger to know God. In 1977, he came into the experience of born-again Pentecostal truth — a turning point that set the course for his life and ministry. After years of faithful service in the Middle East, he then moved to the United States, doing ministry in both the USA and India.
Over more than three decades, John has written extensively in both English and the languages of his native India, helping believers young and old encounter the timeless truths of the Bible through the lives of its most memorable characters. His teaching ministry has taken him to conferences, churches, and mission fields across the world, always carrying the same conviction: that the Word of God, faithfully taught, has the power to transform lives.
